| Renaissance School is accredited by both The American Montessori Society (AMS) and The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACSCASI). Montessori Accreditation Our AMS accreditation recognizes our adherence to a specific code of ethics and the standards laid out for a quality Montessori school. We are also a charter member of The International Montessori Council (IMC). Our administrators and teachers maintain professional memberships with their training organizations (AMS) or Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and many are also members of The North American Montessori Teachers Association (NAMTA) and/or IMC. Independent School Accreditation SACSCASI, the regional branch of CITA (Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation) is the leading school accreditation organization in the southeast region of the United States. This organization accredits public schools, colleges and universities, and many of the best private schools in the South. The school is a member of The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and a consortium member of Independent School Management (ISM). The Florida Department of Children and Families regulates our Infant, Toddler and Primary programs for children six weeks through four years of age. We have maintained a Florida Child Care Center License in good standing since our inception, and are Gold Seal Quality of Care recepients. In addition to these national organizations, the school and our faculty maintain many professional associations with local organizations such as: The Chamber of Commerce Childcare of Southwest Florida The Southwest Florida Community Foundation The Alliance of The Arts and The Gulf Coast Society of Fund Raising Executives. |
